Why Podcasts In Google Search Results Matter For Your Business It can be challenging to get people to listen to your podcasts. There's only so much time (and a lot of podcasts). By having Google analyze podcast episodes and recommend them in SERPs, you may be able to reach a new audience through Google search rankings. For example, if your podcast interviews an influencer, it may be identified by Google as one that users may want to check out. Podcasts in Google search results are still being rolled out. In the meantime, you may want to prepare your podcast by optimizing the meta description and title of your episodes to include names of guests, specific topics and more that you cover. You can read more about podcasts in Google search results here. Instagram Threads App For Close Friends In Instagram news, they are working on an app called Instagram Threads. Instagram Threads is a messaging app that will automatically share your status, location and more with your "close friends" list on Instagram. Why Instagram Threads Matters For Your Business While Instagram Threads is primarily a mobile app to help you keep your friends updated, it can be a valuable tool for your business as well. For example, you could add your clients to your close friends list on Instagram and update them if you're on your way to meet them. This way they know when you'll arrive without having to text them. For those of you who use WhatsApp, Instagram Threads might seem familiar. In WhatsApp, you can share your live location with your contacts or send them a pin to the place where they need to meet you. Could Instagram Threads be a step towards merging other features from Facebook's family of apps into one? You can read more about the Instagram Threads app here. Preview Facebook Page Posts Also in Facebook news, they are rolling out Facebook Page previews. Tools In addition to sharing the latest news from this past week, we also highlighted some great social media tools and apps for you to check out. AdInboxMe The first tool that we have for you this week is AdInboxMe. It can be tough to keep up when your competitors launch new Facebook Ads. While you can go to a Facebook Page and see what ads they are running, you have to remember to do this. With AdInboxMe, you don't have to remember to do this. Instead, you can simply enter in the Facebook Pages for your competitors and get notified via email when they run new Facebook Ads. In addition to seeing ads your competitors run, you can also enter the Facebook Pages for others businesses that you like. This way you can see what types of Facebook Ads they run and get some idea for your own ads. AdInboxMe is a free tool. You can sign-up for it from the link below. Try AdInboxMe Shoot The second tool that we have for you this week is Shoot. Shoot can mirror your iOS device for live streaming. Shoot is an iOS mobile app that will let you use your iOS device as a camera in your livestreams. Shoot is different from other apps that work as a network device interface (NDI), they often communicate over WiFi, which can lead to lag on your device. With Shoot, it works over USB, which helps to reduce lag, which leads to better quality video. Shoot for iOS is a $2.99 app. Download Shoot Wrap-up That's it for this week's show!
