Why Facebook Fan Subscriptions Matter For Your Business It can be difficult to monetize your Facebook presence. A lot of business owners think that having a large number of likes contributes to easy money. That, unfortunately, is not the case for most users. By expanding the Facebook Fan Subscription program, you will have additional opportunities to generate revenue and make money for your business. These include the following options. Ads in Short-form Video - Facebook says that creators will now be able to monetize 60-180 second videos with image and post-roll ads. Ads for Live Video - Facebook is also working on ad formats for live streams, such as mid-roll ads which play in the main screen while the stream continues in a smaller window. Facebook in-stream video ads New Ad Experiences - Facebook is working to increase overall payouts for video creators in Watch Keep in mind that while they are expanding the Facebook Fan Subscription option to more creators, not everyone will have access to monthly recurring payments (Facebook fan subscriptions) or the Stars feature, which applies permanent overlays in your videos. Here is a look at the Facebook Fan Subscription requirements. "Creators and publishers must have an authentic, established presence on Facebook. To be eligible for all monetization features, this means having an established presence for at least 90 days. To gain access to in-stream ads, this also includes maintaining a sufficient follower base, indicated by your Facebook friends or followers." If your business wants to take advantage of these new ways for creators to make money on Facebook, be sure to review the partner monetization policies. You can then apply for the Facebook Fan Subscriptions feature here.
