The Facebook Feeds Tab, A Way to See Recent Posts From Friends, Favorites, Pages and Groups
This week, we're taking a look at the Facebook Feeds Tab.
Mark Zuckerberg shared the following update (and video) about how the new feeds tab will work.
Essentially, you'll have a Home tab and a Feeds Tab.
According to Facebook, the Feed tab is "a new way to find the most recent posts from your friends, Favorites, Pages and groups. You can curate a Favorites list of the friends and Pages you care about most and filter their content in this new tab."
The Home tab is the first tab you'll see when you login to Facebook from your mobile device. This is where you'll discover new content based on AI recommendations from Facebook.
You can access Reels and Stories content and get personalized recommendations from Home.
Here is a look at the flow of the new Facebook Feeds tab.
Another interesting tidbit of information is that you'll be able to follow up to 30 accounts, so choose wisely about who you follow.
Why the Facebook Feeds Tab Matters For Your Business?
For the longest time, users have been clamoring to be able to better control their Facebook News Feed.
By adding in a new Facebook Feeds tab, the Home tab will be recommendations from Facebook.
You can then view the Feeds tab, located at the bottom of the Facebook mobile app.
Remember, if you're not seeing what you want in the Facebook Feeds tab, spend time customizing it further. This way it's more to your liking.
One last thing, if your business hasn't been creating TikTok-style videos, it might be a good time to start, as the new Facebook Feeds tab, specifically, the Home tab, should start showing even more video content.
