Facebook Pay will provide a convenient way to conduct transactions and payments across Facebook, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp. With Facebook Pay, you can choose which apps (where they're available), can access Facebook Pay. Starting today, Facebook Pay will be launching on Facebook and Messenger (in the United States). You can use it for fundraisers, in-game purchases, event tickets, person-to-person payments, purchases from select Facebook Pages and on some Facebook Marketplace accounts. Facebook Pay will support payments on Facebook, Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram. How To Use Facebook Pay Update your Facebook mobile app or go to here on desktop Go to Settings > Facebook Pay Add a payment method (major credit cards, debit cards, PayPal, Stripe, etc) Choose Facebook Pay when you're ready to make a payment Why Facebook Pay Matters For Your Business Facebook wants to compete with companies that offer similar services, such as Apple Pay. By adding Facebook Pay as an option, your business can easily collect payments from customers for products and services. This can make it much easier for customers to make purchases. Facebook Shortcuts Bar - Manage Your Notifications Also in Facebook news, they are rolling out the Facebook shortcuts bar for iOS and Android users. The Facebook shortcuts bar will let you turn off notification dots for some icons in the Facebook mobile app. To use the shortcuts bar, simply launch the Facebook mobile app and then tap and hold on an icon on the shortcuts bar. You can then choose to remove the icon or turn off the red dots. Here is how it works. Facebook Shortcuts Bar Keep in mind that you can also access the shortcuts bar by tapping on the hamburger menu icon > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Shortcuts, to hide the icons and notification dots for Watch, Profile, Groups, Marketplace, Events and Facebook Dating. On one hand, notifications often indicate that people are seeing an engaging with you or your content. At the same time, they can zap our productivity. As a streamer, you can then pick from a number of starter layouts and overlays to help get you up and running in little time.
