So we're testing a filter in your DM requests to keep those out of sight, out of mind. pic.twitter.com/Sg5idjdeVv — Twitter Support (@TwitterSupport) August 15, 2019 Why Twitter Direct Message Filters Matter For Your Business You probably spend a majority of your day just checking notifications that you receive on your social media channels. Chances are, you spend some of that time just to find out that a message was offensive or spam. With new Twitter direct message filters, you can save time by automatically filtering out messages with questionable language or DMs that could be considered spam. When you turn on the new Twitter DM filter feature, messages that fall into this category, will be moved to an additional folder. This will be the only way that you see these messages. This means no more checking your Twitter direct messages to find out that they're not useful. To get the new Twitter direct message filter, simply update your app in your devices AppStore.
