Instagram Supports Managing Multiple Accounts
This week, Instagram announced Instagram multiple account switching.
Interestingly enough, this was a topic we discussed on last week's episode of Social Chatter.
Now that they have officially rolled this out, iOS and Android users can now add multiple Instagram accounts to one Instagram profile.
This way you can switch between and post to different accounts without needing to login and log out each time.
This should be something you give your social media manager because it can save them a lot of time. Remember, all of those precious seconds do add up.
Instagram Adds Video Counts
Also this week from Instagram is the ability to see video counts on videos posted to Instagram.
Once you click on the video views, you can also see who viewed your video and follow them.
This can be a great way for brands to identify brand ambassadors.
Businesses should also look to identify other Instagram accounts they may want to follow or potentially partner with.
Facebook Page Tagging In Groups
Another new update comes to Facebook Groups.
Previously, you could only tag Facebook Profiles in a group.
Now you can tag a Facebook Page when posting to a Facebook Group.
To view an example, head over to our official Facebook Group.
To tag a Facebook Page, you would type the @ sign and then the name of a Facebook Page.
Once you tag a Facebook Page, they'll get notified and can go in and respond as their profile or their page.
Snapchat Partners With Viacom

In other social media news this week, Snapchat signed a deal with Viacom.
Viacom announced they “struck a deal with Snapchat to sell ads on its behalf, add more channels to Snapchat's Discover platform, and give Snapchat special access to Viacom-sponsored events like the Video Music Awards on MTV.”
For now, this sounds like good news for both parties. We're looking forward to seeing how this evolves and if it makes Snapchat more of a player alongside Facebook.
