YouTube Bumper Machine Ads Using Artificial Intelligence
In YouTube news, they are launching YouTube bumper machine ads.
YouTube bumper machine ads will us artificial intelligence to automatically create 6-second bumper machine ads.
Here is an example of an ad created using YouTube bumper machine.
Why YouTube Bumper Machine Ads Matter For Your Business
If you find it challenging to create ads for your content, YouTube hopes to change that with YouTube bumper machine. This new tool will help you create 6-second videos with the help of artificial intelligence.
This way, you can focus on creating the best YouTube video content and let YouTube bumper machine help you with your ads.
Keep in mind that YouTube bumper machine ads aren't meant to replace creating ads entirely. They'll help you come up with an ads, but you should review it and make sure it fits with your business and your message that you want to send viewers.
YouTube bumper machine is currently in alpha testing. When they roll out bumper machine ads, you'll be able to automatically scan your videos for "key elements," such as logos or tight shots to use to create your ads.
You can read more about YouTube bumper machine ads here.
Facebook Live Restrictions
In Facebook news, they are rolling out Facebook live restrictions.
In response to numerous violent attacks that were broadcast using Facebook Live, Facebook is implementing the following live restrictions.
According to Facebook, "we will now apply a ‘one strike’ policy to Live in connection with a broader range of offenses. From now on, anyone who violates our most serious policies will be restricted from using Live for set periods of time – for example 30 days – starting on their first offense. For instance, someone who shares a link to a statement from a terrorist group with no context will now be immediately blocked from using Live for a set period of time."
What this means is that you'll have to be more careful with that you share.
Why Facebook Live Video Restrictions Matter For Your Business
In addition to restricting live video, Facebook is also working on detecting when a video was manipulated and reposted on purpose.
As a business owner, you likely won't have to worry about Facebook live restrictions for your videos, but be aware of what you are posting.
If your business is in an industry that is often criticized, such as MLM or multi-level marketing, healthcare, and so on, you'll already be facing an uphill battle, as a lot of this content is blocked by Facebook.
If your business doesn't fall under these industries, put your focus into building your business and getting to know your customers and less on trying to drive customers straight to the checkout process. They'll get there if you have a good narrative about the problems you can solve for customers.
In the meantime, you can read the announcement about Facebook live restrictions for streaming video here.
Facebook Birthday Stories
Also in Facebook news, they are rolling out Facebook birthday stories.
Birthday stories make it easy for you to send digital birthday cards, photos or videos in Facebook Stories. Right now, they only work for a Facebook Profile and not for Pages.
Here is a look at a Facebook birthday stories example.
Why Facebook Birthday Stories Matter For Your Business
While Facebook birthday stories only work for your Facebook Profile, these can be a great way to learn more about your customers and to build relationships with them.
We hope that they roll out birthday stories for Pages at some point. It would be great to be able to send your customer a relevant Facebook birthday stories message (and maybe a gift card or relevant special offer).
